A unique pilgrimage and nature-loving excursion to the magnificent landscapes of Epirus, in the footsteps of Saint Paisios, where he lived, practiced asceticism and was loved by the people of Konitsa.

Departure at 06:00 in the morning from Saint Vissarion Square to beautiful Konitsa, making the necessary stops along the way.

Our first stop is the Holy Monastery of Stomio, built in the imposing Aoos gorge, in a landscape of unique natural beauty. The route to the monastery starts from the historic stone bridge of Konitsa and follows a beautiful path next to the Aoos river, in a lush natural environment. The hike is easy and accessible for everyone, as it follows a gentle route of approximately 5 kilometers in total.

At the Monastery of Stomios we will have the opportunity to visit the cell where Saint Paisios practiced asceticism for four years and feel the deep spirituality and peace of the place.

Then return to Konitsa, with free time for lunch and a walk in the traditional town. We will also visit the house of Saint Paisios, the house where he grew up with his family after settling from Farasa in Cappadocia. Through personal items, tools and stories, visitors learn about important moments from the life of the Saint and the simple, humble environment in which he grew up.

In the afternoon, departure for Larissa with intermediate stops and arrival in the evening full of beautiful images, emotion and spiritual upliftment.
